All about Veda Samaj
Veda Samaj was started by Keshab Chandra Sen along with K. Sridharalu Naidu after the former visited Madras in 1864.
K. Sridharalu Naidu later visited Calcutta to examine the Brahmo Samaj campaign and as
he returned, he renamed the Veda Samaj as Brahmo Samaj of Southern India in 1871.
He translated the books of Brahmo Dharma into Telugu and
Tamil and undertook missionary tours to propagate the belief. Nevertheless, Naidu’s untimely demise in 1874 in an accident resulted in numerous schisms into this institution.
